Anthony Okuku was always passionate about swimming and was a competitive swimmer during his University days in Ghana. He grew up near the river in Akwa Ibom, Nigeria, and spent most of his days in the water. As he got older, he realized that many people in his community didn’t know how to swim, and he wanted to change that.
So, he decided to become a swimming instructor. He trained hard and learned everything there was to know about teaching people to swim. After years of dedication and hard work, he became the best swimming instructor in Nigeria.
In 2018, Anthony founded SwimPro Academy, the best swimming school in Nigeria. The academy quickly gained a reputation for providing high-quality swimming lessons to people of all ages and abilities.
Under Anthony’s guidance, SwimPro Academy quickly became a popular destination for people looking to learn how to swim. His students learned how to swim confidently and safely, and many of them even went on to compete in local and national swimming competitions.
But Anthony didn’t just focus on teaching people how to swim. He also worked hard to promote water safety and educate people about the importance of learning to swim. He gave talks at schools and community centres and even hosted free swimming lessons for children in low-income neighbourhoods.
